This past weekend was our final preview service for Discovery Church. It was a great morning. We celebrated Christmas, but more importantly people responded to the Gospel and received Christ as their Savior this Christmas season. Our mission at Discovery is to help people Discover Life in Jesus Christ, so our previews ended the best way possible.
Several years ago I heard Andy Stanley make the case that “I was the reason for the season”. It profoundly impacted me, and I’ve always looked forward to sharing it. To watch the message “Christmas Chaos” go HERE.
We are super excited to launch weekly services January 9th! We’ll continue to meet at Farragut High School.
Are you looking for a place to plug-in? We’d love to have you on board with us here at Discovery. We need volunteers to serve a couple of times a month on our Setup team, in our children’s ministry and with Discovery Cafe. Just drop us an e-mail to info@thediscoverychurch.net
Also, if you would like to partner with us financially we still have areas that need to be funded for us to launch at full strength. People have been so generous in the last few months.
