Dear Friends,
Every few days I would like to suggest a few areas for you to pray over in the life of Discovery Church. Would you partner with us in praying? If so would you encourage us by sending a note, or leaving a comment to let us know that you have? It is a tremendous encouragement.
Let me begin by asking you to pray for these 3 areas this week:
1.) Location for worship services – Currently we are negotiating with a local High School about renting their facilities on Sunday to host worship services. Pray for God’s favor with the leaders in the school and school board.
2.) Employment needs for pastors – Myself and Craig Price are taking huge steps of faith with our families in this journey with God. We are both actively searching for jobs that will allow us to be Bi-vocational church planters in the early days of Discovery Church. Pray that we find employment that provides for our families financially and offers the flexibility to minister. Hook us up with a good job if you hear of an opening too!
3.) Pray for our launch team – Our launch team is a group of people who are ready to dig in and do whatever to make the vision of Discovery church a reality. They are our first church members and volunteers. Pray for us to be unified and on mission for God. Also, pray that God would send us more families or individuals to be a part of Discovery Church.
