Over the last few months Julie and I have sensed a stirring from the Lord that there would be something new on the horizon in ministry for us. We have been simultaneously excited and saddened. We deeply love NorthStar Church and have cherished the last 4 years that we’ve served here. We’re incredibly sad to leave our roles and the day in day out relationships we’ve built. At the same time I’ve had a calling to preach and teach the Bible for many years now and am excited about this new adventure. I have officially accepted an invitation from Fellowship Church to become the Associate Lead Pastor for their Pellissippi Campus. In my new pastoral role I’ll be a teaching pastor. I’ll also lead ministry teams and spend a lot of time in an area I’m very passionate about: developing young leaders. Church planting is ‘in my blood’. This new church is still less than a year old, but has seen significant growth. Pray Julie, Rylee and myself that the Lord would use our leadership and experience to help it flourish even more for the glory of God!
I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Scott Cagle, the Elders and Staff or NorthStar as well as the church body. It’s been an incredible privilege to partner with you. We are so grateful the Lord has chosen to allow us to serve the same mission in the same city together.
