Julie and I are excited that God has lead us on this Adoption Journey. We are praying and waiting for the call to come saying our new child is ready to be brought home. We don’t know when it will come, but we are preparing like it could happen any day. There is a significant cost in adopting, over $13,000 in our case. God has already come through and provided half of it through the generosity of some dear friends. We are trying to raise around $3,000 more this spring to bring us closer to the finish line. You may not be in a position where you can adopt a child in need of a family, but maybe you could help fund such an adoption. You could help us accomplish our fund raising goals simply by participating in our Adoption Fundraising Yard Sale this Saturday, April 7th. You could:
1.) Contribute items to be sold. All of the money earned from the items sold will be applied to our Adoption Fund.
2.) Come by our yard sale and purchase some items to help the cause.
