Support Logan Henry
The little guy to your left is named Logan Henry. He’s 2-years old and lives here in East Tennessee.
Recently he was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a form of cancer, that is in his abdominal area. The doctors have found cancer cells in his bone marrow. It has been a painful and difficult few weeks for him and his family.
I went to High School with Logan’s Dad, Sam French. (Logan is being adopted by Sam and his wife Kacee) They are a great family and could really use your prayers and support right now.

UPDATE – 7/7/2010: They did an MRI and found a tumor in his spinal cord. he’s getting radiation on that today and we’re starting the chemo this evening. Pray that this cancer will respond to treatment.- Sam.
UPDATE: – 7/8/2010: They have began chemotherapy treatments. Continue to pray that his body will respond.
UPDATE: 7/14/2010: The Doctor said the tumor on Logan’s spinal cord is a lot smaller. Most of the spinal cord compression is relieved. We’ve also gotten the blood pressure and swelling under control. Logan got to come home this evening. He was so happy to be home and spend time with his sisters.
Logan is also able to use the bathroom without a catheter.
UPDATE: 7/21/2010: Some real positive news about Logan: Logan is getting a LOT of feeling back in his legs. It has worked it’s way up. It started at his feet, then his lower legs, now he is feeling his upper legs a lot more. He is able to kick his legs around some.
His next round of chemo is set to begin June 28th.
UPDATE: 7/28/2010: Logan’s chemo will begin today at Children’s Hospital. The good news is that they will be able to administer it by outpatient care, so the family will be able to go home. If you haven’t already connected to the Facebook Group for Logan above I encourage you to.
UPDATE: 8/8/2010: Pray for Logan as he continues to go under medical treatment, currently in Nashville. He is showing a lot of improvement in his leg function. His mother reports a a tremendous improvement in his purposeful use of his legs. We will add this special little guy to our prayer list at our church. The Great Physician has the power to heal and restore all that doctors cannot.
My thoughts and prayers goes out to Logan and his family. Keep looking to GOD for strength and comfort and i pray that he will have a healing hand placed upon him. I will keep Logan and his family in my prayers!

We were so sorry to hear about Logan. I think of him everyday. My heart goes out to all of you. I hope the next time I come back home to Tn, that I will be able to visit all of you and check in on Logan. We love you.

Logan is such an awesome kid to be around, My husband, kids and I truly miss him running around our house playing. GET WELL SOON logan so you can come play! My prayers and positive thoughts are with this child and his family! Love you Logan!

My prayers for strength and encouragement are with Little Logan and all of his family and loved ones everyday.
My 6 yr. old daughter saw me reading this and wanted to know what was wrong with Logan. I told her and she said Jesus will take care of him. It touched my heart and i wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Think positive thoughts and lean on God.. With God all things are possible.
